About Me

Amanda Tice is a successful curve model, author, body positivity advocate, former TV journalist, co-founder of Hatch Studios, and a very proud Mom to her son, George. Since becoming a mom, Amanda has built on her background in Comparative Human Development to lead a mom revolution aimed at helping mothers tap into their inner wisdom and uncover hidden truths about motherhood to thrive postpartum and beyond.

 

She released and published her first book, The New Mom Code: Shatter Expectations and Crush It at Motherhood, through Mandala Tree Press in January of 2022. She has recently been featured on MSNBC's Know Your Value (link here), Austin Woman Magazine (link here), as well as on a number of podcasts (including Emotionally Uncomfortable, Working Mom Hour, Women in Tech, How to Become a Media Maven, Authors Who Lead, and more.) 

 

She is currently represented by FORD Models (NY/Miami/LA) and Campbell Models (TX). She has built a strong client base over the past 14 years working for and with dozens of well-known retail clients such as Nordstrom, Target, Saks, Kohl's, Frederick's of Hollywood and Avon. Amanda also landed two magazines covers in 2015 and 2016: Women's Running Magazine (Nov/Dec 2015) and Weight Watchers (Jan/Feb 2016). Amanda also has a strong presence on Instagram with over 34k followers. 

Amanda is also a versatile and dynamic entrepreneur with a diverse clientele spanning fashion and technology who excels in community building, generating creative strategies for success and ensuring high quality productions and events. As the Founder of Hatch Studios (a former co-working space in LA), Amanda has experience in branding, marketing, PR, social media, blogging and events. Not only has Amanda successfully produced dozens of top-notch events and proven her ability to build a community, but she was also able to secure sponsorships from major brands including ZICO Coconut Water and American Airlines.

 

Prior to her modeling  career, Amanda was on-camera talent for MSNBC, MTV, TheStreet.com, Plum TV (Hamptons) and News 12 The Bronx. During her broadcast career, Amanda spent time interviewing top celebrities and designers (including Liam Neeson, Mark Wahlberg, Roberto Cavalli), covering major events (ex: Milan & NY Fashion Weeks, James Beard Awards, etc.), and producing content for MTV Networks (shooting, editing, and writing.) 

 

Amanda received an honors bachelors in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, Peter, and their son.
