Amanda Tice is an author, professional curve model, and former television journalist whose work sits at the intersection of media, modeling, and modern motherhood. She is the co-host of the forthcoming podcast Between Pickups, launching August 2026 with board-certified pediatrician Dr. Brian Temple, MD.
A graduate of the University of Chicago with an honors bachelor's in Comparative Human Development, Amanda brings analytic rigor to a creative practice spanning two decades. She entered television journalism out of college, working on-camera for MSNBC, MTV, and TheStreet.com — interviewing Mark Wahlberg, Rihanna, Liam Neeson, Roberto Cavalli and many others, and covering NY and Milan Fashion Weeks, the James Beard Awards, the International Beauty Show, and movie premieres.
Represented by FORD Models, Amanda has worked with retail clients including Nordstrom, Target, Saks, Kohl's, Macy's, Avon, Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, and Vanity Fair Intimates. She was the first plus-size model to work for Frederick's of Hollywood, has appeared on the cover of Women's Running Magazine and Weight Watchers, and has shot campaigns with Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, and the Kardashians.
Her debut book The New Mom Code: Shatter Expectations and Crush It at Motherhood (Mandala Tree Press) debuted as a #1 Amazon New Release across four categories — Pregnancy & Childbirth, Family Health, Parent's Health & Nutrition, and Parenting Emotions & Feelings. The book draws on Amanda's clumsy journey into motherhood — including a now-iconic moment standing exposed in a bikini in front of Heidi Klum's creative team postpartum — and provides journal prompts, exercises, and her signature "Tice Advice" to help mothers rewrite the script.
Today, Amanda turns that authority toward the stage and the studio — keynote talks, workshops, and the launch of Between Pickups. The podcast pairs her unfiltered, journalist-trained voice with Dr. Brian Temple's clinical pediatric authority — bridging the gap between unfiltered "carpool tea" and evidence-based maternal wellness.
She lives in Texas with her husband and their son George.
